More About Me

“Invest with purpose and grow your wealth with Real Estate.”

Katherine Han is an award winning real estate agent located in Westchester County and Manhattan, New York. Recognized by Westchester Business Journal for closing a record number of property sales as a new agent, she also surpassed the benchmark eligibility requirements to becoming a broker within her first year.

"My definition of wealth was first solely based on knowledge and will; i.e. study and work. As a second-generation American Xennial born in NYC, the top global-city, choosing a career in real estate acquisitions and managing assets wasn't the plan and neither was new construction development. Now, it's the only way to grow. In retrospect, it was a greater challenge for my parents who met here as emigrants from Korea; their hard work as Main Street entrepreneurs taught me how to preserver, especially as foreigners. I was exposed to construction and business acumen very early as child. I'm also a granddaughter of a merchant ship captain and steel construction project manager of high-rise developments in Seoul; while I never had the chance to meet them, their wisdom carried through my parents and I feel them with me whenever I venture off to explore new limits.

These experience shaped my perspective on success and wealth. It's been a long and arduous journey but as I expand, I also embrace the path that aligns my interests and skills. Even if this industry wasn't what I initially envisioned, I realize that timing is everything.

'Higher-risk, higher-reward' isn't just about money or material things; it applies to life and dreams.

Adaptability is key to building wealth; especially in a field like real estate and acquisitions where the landscape is dynamic and unpredictable. As my motto states "invest with purpose", this way we'll all yield positive outcomes. Through shared commitment and understanding and in order to overcome obstacles more effectively, we may exceed our own expectations and achieve great success in future endeavors by leveraging each other's strengths."

Katherine participated in numerous mentorship opportunities starting as a peer-mediator in junior high school; and in recent years volunteered to help high school students prepare for their college applications, and mentored college students with design concepts, interviews and employment. She also volunteered as one of 150 participants for Career Day at a South Bronx high school by invitation from a local FBI Agent. She continues to volunteer in support of those considered vulnerable, underprivileged, economically challenged and socially disadvantaged. Katherine operates a ProBono design consulting company founded just before the pandemic. Professionally, she is very active and involved as a committee volunteer for the following three associations: New York State Association of Realtors Young Professional Network, United States Green Building Council Equity Working Group, and the American Institute of Architects Emerging Professionals. Prior to this, she served on numerous boards and committees of Arts + Cultural nonprofits.
